In 2017, I started this site to write about things I learned and the past. I can't tell you that I had a plan, just some interesting stories and a passion for writing.

So What Happened?

Creating content is a chore, especially when it's not your primary role. I have two realities in direct competition:

1. I throw myself into my job, whatever job I have, and

2. When I came to the American Philatelic Society, I took on one helluva challenge.

It'll make for some fun writing, and hopefully, this time, we'll explore it a bit.

I'm still tweaking the site and expect to add a few more features in the weeks ahead.

Newsletter

Looking at the tone of politics these days, I've introduced a newsletter entitled, Whoever Fights Monsters from Friedrich Nietzsche's Beyond Good and Evil. In it, he said, "Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And when you look long into an abyss, the abyss also looks into you."

Since the website stopped a few years ago, a new phenomenon spread across social media and into political discussions, Rage Porn. It seems everywhere I turn, people of all persuasions are just pissed off - too often just for the sake of being pissed off. Honestly, it's pissing me off, so we're going to talk about it.

Where's All that Old Content?

At this point, I cleared the site of all the old content. Some pieces will be back, and some need to be reworked, revised and rethought. Some need to go away, and they have.
